I'm an award-winning journalist based in Denver, covering the environment, politics, and the intersection of the two. I participated in the Ted Scripps Fellowship for Environmental Journalism at the University of Colorado in Boulder in 2017-2018. For my reporting on a fracking explosion for High Country News with The Story Group, I received the 2019 Thomas L. Stokes award from the National Press Foundation.
